DEEP THOUGHT #9

Yo, what up. Lord Avanton here. Sorry I haven't posted in a while, as I've been busy. I'm gonna post about the brain. So my friend Antemortem made a post on her blog about Mind over Matter. I saw an interesting statement where she spoke about our brains' capacity. She was talking about how our brains could unlock more powers at intervals of 10%. I want to expound upon that. Say there's a way to actually unlock the rest of our potential. How do we get our narrow-minded race to look up from their tablets, video games, cell phones, and TV's to go and realize that they have a larger role to play? How do we turn on the 10% that we have so we can unlock the 20% and so on? People always talk about vibes, so what if you could actually feel them? Wouldn't you want to have a "early warning system" so that you could make decisions in a group more easily? You could read the feelings of the group and figure out the best course of action to take. Also, if it were possible that if your brain was more fully unlocked, you could have more powers or abilities like super-human strength or speed, maybe even flight and telekinesis. But our minds are so set inside our virtual reality and we don't want to change. It would take a tremendous display of power to convince the world that such abilities would be good thing. You would have to save hundreds of people from a natural disaster or save a country from a missile strike or something. We are so serious and skeptical that we have shut our minds in a box. I only hope that it can be unlocked before it is too late.

DEEP THOUGHT #8

Yo! What up everyone? It's me Lord Avanton coming to you with DEEP THOUGHT #8. This one's on PARENTS! I'm currently listening to the song "Talkin' 2 Myself" by Eminem and this is what it's like with some parents. You can't tell them ANYTHING because they'll overreact. My parents are a mix of that and the super-awesome nice parents who want to relate to you by giving you everything you want. Parents... where to begin? Ah, yes. Parents are cool because they want to help you. They may be annoying, but they want to help you. They want to be there for you, so therefore when they want you to tell them everything, its because they want to help you. But their's only one problem with that. THEY DON'T HAVE THE RIGHT SOLUTION! They think (bless their souls) that they have all of the answers because they were once children. Well guess what, THE TIMES HAVE CHANGED. There are some things that you can't answer completely. Sometimes we children have to take things into our own hands. Only sometimes, other times parents actually can help us. Alright my time is up. Comment and tell me your thoughts. Give me FEEDBACK! Alright, peace out.

DEEP THOUGHT #7

What's up everyone? This is Lord Avanton coming to you with DEEP THOUGHT #7. This one is one promises. I made a promise to a my girlfriend that I (unfortunately) was not be able to fulfill because of unforeseen family consequences. Luckily she's the forgiving kind that won't chop your head off if you don't keep a promise. I plan on getting her something for her birthday maybe some flowers or chocolates or some jewelery. I really hope for the last one, but I'm currently broke. DAMN YOU SCREEN ACTORS GUILD! Sorry, their's just not a lot of work for undiscovered child actors anymore. The TV shows stick with the tried and true so I never get a chance. OK Back to promises, Merriam-Webster defines a promise as: "a declaration that one will do or refrain from doing something specified." It is also binding, so if you break it, people won't trust you and trust is HUGE in the world. My family's foundation is built on trust. If you don't have trust you have nothing. Alright, my times up. Comment and give me your feedback.

Peace,

Lord Avanton

DEEP THOUGHT #6

Yo, what up? Today's DEEP THOUGHT is from the Western Section (Emotions) on love. Yeah, I'm feeling crazily in love and my girlfriend (new one) is driving my insane. Yeah it seems like i go through them like shirts in a growth-spurt. Sorry about not posting in FOREVER, but that's the way it goes over summer (sometimes). So the Beatles said "All You Need Is Love". Well let me tell you, that's  not true. I loved people but still felt empty. Maybe what they meant was, "All You Need is for Someone to Love You". That makes more sense. Love can also hurt as well. When you love someone but can't get over them, it hurts, a lot. I had an experience like that with a Stuck Up Girl (See DEEP THOUGHT 4) named Victoria. This past year, things got a little better. It seems like we're not on each other's hit lists anymore so I'm OK with that. For instance, I've liked my current girlfriend for years now but that didn't do anything at all. Sure it gave me a slightly warm feeling every time I saw her, but other than that, nothing. When I actually confronted her, and she accepted me, that's when I started to feel my heart beating faster every time I saw her. She looks good in everything I've seen her wear and she's the most graceful person I've ever seen in my life. Ok so I think I'm done here. See you all later.

DEEP THOUGHT #5.2

OK I'm back and its about COMPANIONSHIP again. I've decided to cut it to a 2-part series, because I really don't have 3 posts worth of material on this subject. OK so now onto being a good friend. I don't have many people that I consider to be a friend, but if you are my friend then you're pretty much family. I would do anything, even put my life on the line, if it was necessary to help a friend. Thus said I have about 3-5 friends. Three of them are girls. Two of them are members of this blog(hint hint wink wink). Yes, you two, you are my actual friends. I find everyone an acquaintance. If the school were attacked(extreme possibility) I would probably make sure they could get away with me. Likewise if they or anyone else was hurt, guess who would be going back to try and find them? Yeah, me. Screw the teachers trying to hold me back, they're my friends. Now some of you might be saying, "You're just saying that. You won't actually do that." You wish. I've done stuff you wouldn't believe. Have you grabbed a puppy off of the street when are car was bearing down on it? How about stopped your crazy, knife-happy cousin from thinking that your uncle's knives are blunt throwing knives.? Don't think so. So yeah, I've gone off topic, but I think that I've made my point. Now I would try to help other people I know. Just not in as drastic ways. OK my time's up. Comment. I want your feedback.

Peace,

Lord Avanton

DEEP THOUGHT #5.1

What's up everyone, this is Lord Avanton bringing you DEEP THOUGHT 5. This is a special one because it is the first in a 3-part series on COMPANIONSHIP, which is in the Western Section, Emotional/friendly stuff! OK so lets get started. Now companionship can mean a lot of things. For one it can just be tagging along with someone on a trip, to being in a relationship with someone. I going to talk about the latter and use my girlfriend as an example. My girlfriends rocks my world. When I'm feeling down, one look at her perks my day right up. When I was in New York from Wednesday to Sunday, I couldn't stop thinking about her. The only time I wasn't thinking about her was at a party(typical boy reasoning). So a girlfriend/boyfriend is someone you can tell almost anything to. We haven't gotten there cause she's a grade above me, but it'll happen(hopefully). Having someone that you can tell anything to is immensely satisfying. You can just UNLOAD! I don't suggest you do it everyday. Do it every 5-7 weeks. Do it in turns, let him or her go first and THEN you go. AFTER THEY DO! It's always others before yourself. Take the other person into consideration. Remember, if you love them then let them have the first say. OK, I'm done here. Comment if you want to have more DEEP THOUGHT's like this one.

Peace,

Lord Avanton

DEEP THOUGHT #4

Greetings followers, today's Deep Thought is from the Southern Section on people. More specifically, annoying girls. Where to begin, where to begin? OK first off to the girls who follow my blog, this is not about you, this is about the certain types who piss me the hell off. I've met a lot of girls and there's always one in their group that manages to piss me off the most. I have categorized them into three types: Stuck-up, Annoying, and Impossible-To-Get. The Stuck-up ones literally sexy and they know it. Pun intended, I really hate this group the most, because they think that they are better than everyone EXCEPT CELEBRITIES! I have met a few and I must, say, If they don't like you they will let you know. The second group is the Annoying girls. There is really no way to combat them except to get all up in their face and tell them to fuck off. Then they go and tell their friends. Then you have a scandal on your hands. The only thing I can tell you is to not tell them anything of use. They feed off of gossip and hopefully if they don't get enough, they'll die. The third group is those Impossible-To-Get girls. They are the stubborn ones where if you don't match every requirement, then you will fail. They are literally waiting for their Prince Charming, or their Mr. Tall, Dark, and Handsome. Which, as we know, are UNATTAINABLE!!!! So when they eventually do get married they are always cheating on their husbands'. So yeah. I'm done with my rant but I hope you guys out there found this useful. Remember ALL GIRLS ARE NOT LIKE THIS. MY girlfriend ROCKS!!!!!!! On good days she looks like a million golden drachmas. On bad days she still looks like a million golden drachmas! OK peace out

DEEP THOUGHT #3

Today's Deep Thought comes from the Western Section of the Library, Emotions. Today it's about Depression. Yep, I'm in one of those mood's and its NOT going away anytime soon people. Yeah, I'm depressed, what else is new. My girlfriend and I broke up and she left me for another guy. So after a few hours of listening to depressing music I decided to write this post. Now depression sucks and if you get in it, it takes a lot to get out of it. The list of symptoms are:
  • Sadness or hopelessness
  • Irritability, anger, or hostility
  • Tearfulness or frequent crying
  • Withdrawal from friends and family
  • Loss of interest in activities
  • Changes in eating and sleeping habits
  • Restlessness and agitation
  • Feelings of worthlessness and guilt
  • Lack of enthusiasm and motivation
  • Fatigue or lack of energy
  • Difficulty concentrating
  • Thoughts of death or suicide
So if you have those, you're depressed. Now, I think that the reason most people become depressed is because drastic things change in their lives. They could move away from all of their friends, their parents could divorce and they could break-up with their boy/girlfriend. The thing that you need to be careful about is isolation. If someone is too isolated then try to draw them out of their shell. Be friends with the person, make them feel like they're worth it. Even if their reason seems silly, don't criticize. Make see the light and good side of things. The ONLY thing between suicide and person who is depressed is YOU! Anyway, I'm out of my funk so I'll see you with another Deep Thought: Girls.

DEEP THOUGHT #2

Sup, everyone. Today's DEEP THOUGHT comes from the Eastern Corridor of the Grand Library. The Urban Section. The topic is gifted/iftedness. To be "gifted" means to have intellectual ability higher than average. I happen to go to a school for "Gifted Children" although some are more ifted than gifted. Being "ifted" means that you are a "suferior individual"-PWB Dictionary. This means basically that you are a retard. The slang version not the real version. Anyway being ifted is an amazing achievement. It takes serious skill to FAIL THAT MUCH!!! Like today, someone in Math Period 2 farted so loud it was like someone sat on a huge whoopee cushion. IT WAS DURING A TEST TOO! Everyone froze and laughed as the "fartee" turned bright red. He apologized and we all laughed harder. That's an example of "iftedness". Alright my time is up. Join me next week for Depression. Yep its that time again folks.

Deep Thought #1

Greeting followers, today's Deep Thought is about adrenaline. Adrenaline is is a hormone and a nuerotransmitter which causes the body to speed up your heart and lung rate. It comes up in FIGHT OR FLIGHT response. Most of the time its FIGHT for me. I feel this a lot because I do a lot of physical activity. Then I can jump higher(uber hops), run faster (insert comment about black people here) and am stronger. It feels like I'm flying. The speed aspect is like you are the Flash from DC Comics (without the crime-fighting part). It also comes with the "thrill of the chase" or with video games. I feel that if you are gifted with extreme athletic ability, you should take advantage of it. When you are able to beat your opponents and leave them in the dust, those are the best feelings, it is akin to invincibility. You're just like, "YEAH!! COME GET SOME!!!" They look at you in envy and sometimes fear. There's a USC shirt that says, "LET THEM HATE SO LONG AS THEY FEAR!" That's kinda how I feel it. They don't like me when I show up at a basketball game or a football game or a track meet but they fear my presence and they try and steer clear. The stare down is the best part, especially when you have transition lenses(the stuff that make your regular glasses or sports goggles into sunglasses. They make your face unreadable and when you stare someone down, you can feel the chills and you feel the adrenaline coursing through already. The anticipation of the battle and the anticipation of the win. You KNOW it's goin DOWN!!! As soon as you step up, it kicks in, your muscles feel lighter, your breath quickens, your vision focuses to a point and when that even starts, BAM! You are GONE! You shoot, you catch, you run, or whatever and if it works out and you do well, it just heightens the feeling. Everything just goes even higher, and it takes a while to come down. It's not like being high, but it's like having superpowers. Alright, my time is up. If you want anymore Deep Thoughts respond in a comment.

Tapped!

Hey, everyone, this is Avanton here bringing you tidbits and things from THE GRAND LIBRARY! Most people I've told know about the movie Tapped! I watched it and it was truly scary what the water bottle companies do. There is a law that says whoever has the biggest pump, has the monopoly on the spring or lake that they are pumping. Now the people who live near these lakes and rivers don't have a say in whether or not they want these big companies doing this to their reservoir of water. Many people have fought back and now its your turn. GET OUT THERE AND STAND UP. Go see if there are places where you can MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD. Comment on this and tell me where. I'll include the link.
